Telomeres
A series of hyperbaric sessions induces adaptive cellular responses that activate regenerative processes. A clinical study found telomere lengthening of more than 20% after 60 sessions at 2.0 ATA.
The best investment in health is not the one that fixes a problem. It is the one that moves biological limits. HBOT triggers processes at the cellular level that other interventions do not reach. Here is the data.
Repeated series of hyperbaric therapy produce physiological changes that go beyond a simple rise in oxygen saturation. The mechanisms relevant to longevity and biological optimisation:
A series of hyperbaric sessions induces adaptive cellular responses that activate regenerative processes. A clinical study found telomere lengthening of more than 20% after 60 sessions at 2.0 ATA.
The same study recorded a marked reduction in the concentration of senescent T cells. Senescence is one of the main “hallmarks of aging” and reducing it is a direct target of longevity protocols.
HBOT stimulates mitochondrial biogenesis and increases ATP production, the primary source of cellular energy. Mitochondrial capacity is a key predictor of biological age and performance.
A rise in VEGF (vascular endothelial growth factor) supports the formation of new blood vessels and improves microcirculation. Bryan Johnson recorded a 300% increase in VEGF after a series of 60 sessions.
Paradoxically, the temporary rise in oxidative stress during HBOT activates the body’s own antioxidant systems. The result is reduced chronic inflammation and improved cellular resilience.
HBOT stimulates the production and proliferation of stem cells, which supports tissue renewal and regeneration. The effect has been documented in clinical settings and is part of protocols for neurological rehabilitation.
A study published in the journal Aging in 2020 followed healthy adults who completed 60 sessions of hyperbaric therapy at 2.0 ATA. Results measured in peripheral blood cells:
T-helper, T-cytotoxic, NK and B cells
T-helper senescent cells after HBOT
5× a week for 12 weeks
Clinical specification of the study
Telomere lengthening of 20–38% is one of the strongest results recorded so far for a non-pharmacological intervention in the peer-reviewed literature. Telomeres are a direct indicator of cellular age.
Efrati S. et al. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy increases telomere length and decreases immunosenescence in isolated blood cells: a prospective trial. Aging, vol. 12, no. 22, 2020, pp. 22445–22456.
Bryan Johnson, the founder of the Blueprint protocol, completed 60 HBOT sessions in 90 days at a pressure of 2.0 ATA. It was part of the most thoroughly documented self-experiment in the history of biohacking. His results are an N=1 self-experiment, not a randomised controlled trial. The clinical evidence comes from Dr Efrati’s study above. It remains an interesting data point.
A hard-shell chamber. Clinical pressure. The same manufacturer as Johnson’s chamber.
As the only private practice in Prague we offer genuine HBOT at up to 2.4 ATA in a hard-shell chamber with a BIBS mask. We have full capacity for the longevity protocol at 2.0 ATA as described in Dr Efrati’s study.
The level used in clinical settings. Other private providers in the Czech Republic reach 1.5 ATA at most.
The only standard in serious hyperbaric therapy. Maximum oxygen concentration in every breath. No dilution, exactly where it belongs.
A professional oxygen station with filtration. Consistent values in every session.
With a nasal cannula the client exhales back into the chamber. The exhaled air mixes with the oxygen from the cannula, raises the oxygen concentration inside the closed space above a safe level and at the same time markedly lowers the purity of what the client breathes in. BIBS is a closed system that carries exhaled air entirely out of the chamber, so every breath contains pure oxygen without dilution.

The protocol follows Dr Efrati’s study: 60 sessions at 2.0 ATA. We offer two variants — the full protocol exactly as in the study, or a first series with the option to continue.
Exactly as in Dr Efrati’s study
CZK 55,000
An entry point with the option to continue
CZK 30,000
The Efrati protocol prices apply to the complete series as described in the study. The price of the first series counts towards the price of the full protocol. We set the schedule and frequency individually at the free initial consultation. The table above lists prices for single hyperbaric oxygen therapy sessions and packages outside the protocol.
Google reviews, translated from Czech.
“After only a few hyperbaric oxygen therapy sessions I noticed more energy, better concentration and a better overall physical and mental state.”
“I can only recommend the oxygen therapy here. The team is friendly and the place feels welcoming. After the sessions I feel full of energy.”
“After a single oxygen therapy session my post-operative scar looked completely different. I could not believe my own eyes. The team were very kind and professional.”

Message us on WhatsApp any time. We’ll reply as soon as we can.Yes. HBOT combines well with other protocols such as intermittent fasting, cold exposure or NAD+ supplementation. There are synergies in particular with protocols that activate mitochondrial biogenesis. We recommend discussing the timing of sessions in the context of your overall protocol.
The clinical evidence for telomeres comes from 60 sessions. The first series is an entry point where you get the first measurable data and a subjective sense of the effect. The results of the first series will tell you how your body responds to the protocol and whether you want to continue to the full course.
Yes. The first series is designed precisely as an entry point with the option to continue. If you decide to continue after 30 sessions, we pick up directly from the first series without interrupting the protocol. The price of the first series counts towards the price of the full course.
The simplest approach is to track energy, sleep and performance subjectively. If you want data, we recommend biological markers before and after the series: telomere length, CRP, a full blood count and optionally epigenetic tests such as TruAge or the Horvath clock. You arrange these tests yourself through a laboratory or a longevity clinic.
Yes. The protocol follows a clinical study that worked with a frequency of 5× a week. Before you start we carry out an initial consultation to rule out contraindications. We adjust the frequency individually within a range of 3 to 5 sessions a week.
